Invisible Museums

Your body activates sonic expressions of the unseen world. Artist Jeanette Andrews was commissioned by the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago to create the work where you experience two realms of the invisible: the architecture of the imaginary museum and the contents of the museum’s unseen “galleries.” As you decide which directions to walk and paths to follow, you render these museum spaces. Each space contains the artist’s sonic interpretations of the unseen force that your museum pays homage. You are both builder and visitor and the work consciously notes the body's relationship with invisible forces.
